Twitter’s Head of News support after quitting

Thousands of Vivian Schiller Twitter messages are coming in after she decided to quit her Head of News position at Twitter.

Vivian Schiller took to her official Twitter account to let her followers know she has decided to depart, she was Twitter’s first head of news and it has now been confirmed who will be taking her place.

Former C-Span executive, Adam Sharp will now be in charge of Twitter’s news and government, who will be under Twitter’s media division’s new chief Katie Jacobs Stanton.

Schiller only took the job as News Chief 12 months ago and already she is leaving, is this the case of Twitter swap and change to see what works? Other have also departed from Twitter’s reins including media head Chloe Sladden who was replaced by Stanton and COO Ali Rowghani, Twitter also hired Anthony Noto as its CFO.

Seems like one person leaves and another is taken on, is this the case of musical chairs.

Margarita Noriega (@margarita) tweeted a message to Vivian Schiller saying, “During the short period of time collaborating w/@vivian on Twitter projects, she encouraged creativity. That goes a long way in my book.”
