Lynsey de Paul Twitter tributes

Lynsey de Paul has sadly passed away at the age of 64, the singer-songwriter famous for representing the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest way back in 1977 and many top 20 hits died of a suspected brain haemorrhage after multiple headaches.

She sadly died in hospital yesterday (Wednesday, October 1), she achieved many things in life including being the first woman to triumph an Ivor Novello award for song writing for the song Won’t Somebody Dance With Me. She was also runner up as the UK entry for Eurovision with Mike Moran with the song Rock Bottom.

Lynsey de Paul was also the patron of the Spike Milligan Statue Memorial Fund, she has also starred in many shows such as Cash In The Attic and Come Dine With Me.

People are taking to Twitter to pay tribute to Lynsey de Paul, Susanne Merryweather tweeted, “sad news about lynsey de paul… been too many celeb deaths this year :-(.”
