Mangalyaan MOM current status, photos on Twitter

The Mangalyaan best known as Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) photos have been posted on Twitter showing the regional dust storm over Mars.

The storm was photographed over the northern hemisphere of Mars, which you can see in the screenshot below thanks to ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) on Twitter.

The Mangalyaan current status shows the photo here, which was taken from India’s Mars orbiter, the color camera was on board the Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM)”, and since the image was released social media has taken a massive interest.

When you look at the Mangalyaan photos, which were taken from the surface of Mars at an altitude of 74,500km, you can see the mission has been a success. MOM itself has been set in place to study mineral composition as well as the Martian surface, it also scans the atmosphere for methane and of course any means of life.
