Great North Run 2015 reminder and social following

Around 57,000 people took part in the 34th Great North Run with Mo Farah winning it this year, to become the first British man to win it in a staggering 29 years.

The iconic 13.1-mile (Tyneside Half marathon) Great North Run is very well known and it’s been titled ‘The world’s greatest half marathon’, Mo Farah won it for the men and for the women it was Mary Keitany from Kenya, so well done to both of you.

This is the first IAAF event in the world to complete its millionth finish; it is so popular you can now set a reminder to compete in next years Great North Run.
