The Ryder Cup kicks off on the 23 September through to the 28th, 2014 and already there has been a social media ban put into place by officials.

Ryder Cup golfers will be playing in Scotland from September and viewers/spectators are not allowed to update photographs, videos, audio onto any social media network.

The PGA European Tour and Professional Golfers’ Association of America (PGA) have put the ban into place, so players are not distracted in any way they have restricted any uploading of such during the six-day golfing event.

People will be allowed to take photos on practice days, the ban also states no autographs will happen on play days; they are also banning personal mobility scooters.
