Commonwealth Games medal table with social buzz

The first day of Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games has led to an early look at the medal table along with the standings being talked about across social networks. Both the official Twitter and Facebook channels are being updated every few hours with news being met with discussion, although all within the spirit of this sport.

After the opening ceremony went live on BBC we have seen the buzz showing not only on official channels, but also on personal profiles with tweets being shared with opinions and reactions to results from the first day of sport.

There’s just under 1,400 medals to be won and you can see the latest updated Commonwealth Games medal tally within this table, which reveals the standings by athlete or country.

As you can see after the first day, England is leading with 3 gold medals, 3 silver, and 2 bronze in the mens table. You can see the early look in the screenshot above, which also reveals in the women’s category there’s 3 gold, 4 silver, and 2 bronze for England.
