Facebook advertising continuing growth: search, social snapshot

A new Kenshoo study breakdown its search and social snapshot for Q2 2014 and shows its global spending on Facebook ads have increased by more than 50% year-on-year.

It also delves into search advertisers are demonstrating more sophistication and driving steady growth across all key performance indicators, as well as social volume spikes as new advertisers enter the marketplace causing fluctuations in campaign metrics.

When it comes down to ‘Search Advertising Q2 Metrics’ the stats are as follows: The cost per click (CPC) QoQ lists at +7 with YoY being +8%, The spend QoQ is 2% with YoY being +25%, Impressions -7% / -9%, Clicks -4% / +15% and Click-through-Rate (CTR) sits at +3% QoQ and +26% YoY

The ‘Social Advertising Q2 Metrics‘ are as follows with QoQ first and then YoY: CPC +27% / +54%, Spend +21% / +51, Impressions -10% / +13%, Clicks -5% / -2% and CTR +5% and -14%.
