Twitter plays a massive part in peoples lives, being it for business or pleasure. Social media is the way of life and it will only but get stronger and more dominant as the years roll by. It is all about how many followers you can engage, and thanks to the inforgraphic below courtesy of WhoIsHostingThis we can see more into what works and what doesn’t.

It does not matter if you are a business, a personal user or both, it is all about attracting the masses and that is the way forward. Personally gaining more followers for business is more important that personal use for fun, brand awareness is very important.

Twitter has over 650 million users, which accumulates to over half a billion tweets per day 365 days a year, powerful we know and there is a way to accumulate some of those to follow you. On average Twitter users get around 200 natural followers, apparently 6 out of 10 Twitter users do not have hardly any followers but making a few slight changes can help.

Users with fewer than 1000 tweets normally have fewer than 100 followers, more than 10,000 tweets the average is between 1,001 and 5,000 followers, and according to the infographic below if a Twitter user has more than 15,000 tweets they generally have between 100,001 to 1 million followers.

The statistics are rather interesting, did you know that when writing out your Twitter profile bio it is searchable within Twitter, it is always best to use the 160 characters you have to show people why they should follow you.
