Ad, marketing professionals vs normal social media use

When it comes to the way we use social media it differs on two factors, one being ‘Ad/Marketing Professionals’ and second ‘Normal People’, looking at the infographic below really shows the disengagement between marketers and their audiences.

Social media is being used across the board, and below the infographic titled “How Are We Using Social Media?” is rather interesting indeed and it shows statistic differences between Ad/Marketing Professionals’ and what SFHeat.com call Normal People.

When you look at the differences when asked, “Do you have an account with any of the following services?” These were the results –

Ad/Marketing Professionals (Professionals who work in the field of advertising or marketing): 97% said they had Facebook, 61% Google+, 53% Instagram, 57% Pinterest, 54% Spotify, 34% Tumblr and 92% of Ad/Marketing Professionals has a Twitter account.

Normal People (The general population not working in advertising or marketing): When asked the same question “Do you have an account with any of the following services?” The stats were a lot different, 82% said they had a Facebook account, 23% Google+, 6% only for Instagram, 11% Pinterest, only a mere 3% use Spotify, 7% Tumber and Twitter 39%.

The infographic also goes into a lot more, please do take a look below and comments are most welcome – Would be rather interesting to know what your views are.
