Twitter account hacked after sons death

A mother’s pain has surfaced again after her son’s Twitter account was hacked, the sons Twitter account has been hacked two years after Stephen Carey sadly passed away whilst playing football.

Two years after the son died his Twitter account has been hacked according to the Northumberland Gazette, mother Joy Bowman said that she ‘feels sick’ because a family member and herself received a message saying that they were being followed by Stephen Carey.

The 21 year old died whilst playing football in July 2012, so to get a Twitter message 2 years on is upsetting, especially for the mother of the lad.

The family have no idea who is responsible for her sons account being hacked, it has been said someone could be acting maliciously, the mother reported that her son’s Twitter account was left running because he loved using the social networking site.

As of February 10 eight people have been followed, most of them were family. They have since got in touch with Twitter by email and fax to have the son’s Twitter account closed, the family also asked for the IP address of where the account was activated.
