Gmail account to spread anti-Islam stickers removed

The islamsticker@gmail Gmail account set up by politician Geert Wilders has been removed from the system after Google deactivated the email account. The account was said to have been set up to spread anti-Islam initiative.

Many complaints apparently flooded in about Wilders’ anti-Islam initiative and this is why Google deactivated the Gmail account.

Geert Wilders took to his Twitter account on Boxing Day to let his followers know that his Gmail account had been closed. He said “Unbelievable; Google just blocked the account. It seems Mohammed Rabbae’s complaint was successful,” he tweeted. Rabbae had complained at Google that Wilders was abusing its service.

Complaints came in after this was said, “Islam is a lie. Mohamed is a criminal. The Koran is poison.”

This did not go down to well and this is one of the reasons Google deactivated the Gmail account according the latest reports. The politician did say that the sticker was not intended as an action against Muslims as the majority of people of this faith are not violent.

On Geert Wilders Twitter account he did tweet that there is a new email address and domain registered for people to order the sticker, for more information please visit NL Times.
