Lostprophets Ian Watkins causes outrage on Facebook, Twitter

Lostprophets front man Ian Watkins has gone on trial after he admitted abusing children; Watkins admitted two counts of attempted rape on a baby in Cardiff Crown Court. The singer is causing outrage on both Facebook and Twitter and majority hate the man with a few backing him.

Former band mates said that they were unaware of Ian Watkins sexually predatory behaviour; the other band members took to Facebook on their official account and made a statement. They did say in a nutshell that they were disgusted, angry and heartbroken, they also stress that they knew nothing about what Watkins did.

Many people can handle musician’s get into drugs and drinks and they really do battle these demons, but people will never understand why sexually abusing a child happens, social media comments are coming in from all over the world and some are in shock and suggesting Watkins should suffer.

It was found that Watkins sexually touched a one-year old, conspiracy to rape a baby, as well as possessing and making films of child abuse.

The Ian Watkins trial continues and he will be sentenced on December 18, it is only then we will know the full charges.
