We all know that Black Friday is the day that follows Thanksgiving in USA, it is also known as the Christmas shopping season where today is Black Friday and come Monday it will be called Cyber Monday. Many have only ever seen it as a deals day for bargains, but now see it as being racist.

The reason it is called ‘Black Friday’ is simple, Wikipedia explains it like this “Later an alternative explanation was made: that retailers traditionally operated at a financial loss (“in the red”) from January through November, and “Black Friday” indicates the point at which retailers begin to turn a profit, or “in the black”. For large retail chains like Walmart, their net income is positive starting from January 1, and Black Friday can boost their year to date net profit from $14 billion to $19 billion.”
