Google Chrome voice search not working for some

Google are releasing a few updates lately, and its latest one is the new ‘Google Voice Search Hotword (Beta)’, this means that they have brought voice search to Google Chrome.

The new Google Chrome voice extension was announced at I/O Developer Conference 2013, they promised that the automatic voice search to Google Chrome for both laptops and desktops would be coming soon and here it is.

This means that Google Chrome users can now talk when using, no more typing and totally hands-free, all users need to do is simply say “Ok Google” and then ask your question.

Say you are doing a recipe and you have you laptop nearby, your hands a re a little dirty but you need to know how many ounces are their in a pound, you simple speak to your laptop by saying “Ok Google, how many ounces are their in a pound”, you can ask anything you like hands-free.

You can even say things like “Ok Google, set a timer for 30 minutes”, there is so much more you can do. Download the new Google Voice Search Hotword extension via the Chrome Web Store.

Please follow these steps – 1) Download the extension. 2) Click “agree” to give your permission to use your microphone. 3) Visit Google.com on Chrome and give it a try. Just say “Ok Google” and then ask your question.
