Bitstrips Facebook app teases with avatar investor

There are a few that really dislikes the Bitstrips Facebook app, it’s annoying and holds no purpose in life. But it looks like it will be with us for a very long time, oh dear.

OSM did explain how you could stop Bitstrips from showing up on your Facebook timeline, if anyone thought that the Bitstrips app on Facebook was just a phase think again.

The Bitstrips disappearance is not going to happen anytime soon because Asia’s richest man has just invested a lot of money into the app.

Li Ka-shing’s Horizons Ventures has invested a lot of money into Facebook with a $US60 million stake placed in 2007, and now they have invested money into Bitstrips. If you look at the picture above you will see a Bitstrips avatar of 85-year-old Mr Li looking younger than ever, the cartoon strip does show the avatar wearing the iconic black thick-rimmed glasses.

No identity has been confirmed of the Bitstrips avatar, but it does resemble Mr Li, and if you look at the other names the one in the middle is director of the Li Ka-shing Foundation, Solina Chau.

Do you like Bitstrips or have you turned it off?
