New Facebook Stories to Share tool for publishers

Recently it was noted that Pinterest’s referral traffic statistics raised profiles, but we all know that Facebook wins when it comes to referral traffic.

Mark Zuckerberg and the Facebook team have increased the average referral traffic by 170 percent, and now they have decided to launch a brand new tool called ‘Stories to Share’, which can be found in the page admin dashboard.

Media websites have noticed a massive rise in referral traffic and Facebook will continue to be the most dominant here, have a read over on Simple Reach who details why Facebook is the largest driver of social traffic and referrals.

The new Facebook tool called ‘Stories to Share’ has been put in place for media sites to find content, if they see something they feel is engaging then they have the option to post on Facebook.

If you visit this Facebook page they talk a little more about ‘Stories to Share’, they explain that say TIME sees suggestions of stories that they have published to TIME.com but have not yet shared to Facebook fans, this new tool now allows them to post any of the suggestions to their Facebook page directly from their Insights Dashboard in their admin panel.

This is a new test with publishers and organizations, please remember that this is not available on all Pages, this in a nutshell means more referrals. It is a great way for stories to get marked as a major story, and of course encourages people to share by Facebook.
