French Open 2013: Twitter pic results by Sergiy Stakhovsky

Arguing the point at the French Open 2013 is one thing, but taking a picture with an Apple iPhone smartphone and posting it on Twitter after a disputed line call is another.

Ukrainian tennis player Sergiy Stakhovsky used his initiative and brought the game to a halt after pulling out his iPhone yesterday to take a picture after what he thought was a wrong line call during his defeat to Richard Gasquet.

Stakhovsky thought it was the right thing to do to prove a point with the line judge, he believed the line judge made a wrong call and promised to show his picture taken with his iPhone to the French Open supervisors.

This is a Grand Slam match and line calling should be correct, if you look at the picture he took with his iPhone you can see the mark at the top just touching the line, which would mean Stakhovksy’s ball was just in.

Stakhovksy lost the match 6-1, 6-4, 6-3 to Richard Gasquet, but we have to give it to Stakhovksy for trying to prove a point.
