Dzhokhar Tsarnaev twitter support after Boston bombing

Suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has gained twitter support after the Boston Marathon bombing and is gaining awareness on social media after his capture. Tsarnaev’s brother died after a firefight with officers and was charged on Monday for the use of a weapon for mass destruction that caused death.

ABC News reported that they did not flee after the Boston Marathon bombing, and Watertown Police Chief Edward Deveau said in a statement they still had bombs and did not intend to flee, which means they had plans to kill more people.

It now shows there are people supporting in Tsarnaev’s defense saying he is innocent of the charges, so much so supporters have used Twitter to raise awareness. Users are using hashtags such as #JusticeForJahar, #FreeJahar and #TroyCrossleyTruth, there are probably more.

Troy Crossley tweeted “All Footage has no proof of Jahar or his bro JUST DARKNESS AN RANDOM SHOTS….WE THE SO CALLED “EXTREMIST” HAVE WITNESSSES SAYIN OTHERWISE.”

There is also a petition to guarantee Dzhokhar Tsarnaev the right to a fair trial, which will be delivered to President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, so far this petition, has reached 5,000 signatures.

Even though Tsarnaev is gaining support on one side of the fence, he is also getting the opposite treatment from other Twitter users, we saw one by user @KamaainalnOC’s tweeting “Dear FBI, check out the #freejahar hashtag for terrorist sympathizers. Please deport them to their country of choice” and another said “All these #FreeJahar tweets are sickening. I wish we could “free” him back to 13th Century England so he could be hanged, drawn & quartered.”
