Twilight Saga fans excitement builds to a crescendo as the latest film in the series draws closer to its premiere. However following this build up can lead avid watchers into a world of Internet viruses through no fault of their own.
According to Mashable, malicious hackers have been swooping in on innocent Twilight followers, preying on their dedication to the film. By poisoning links that relate to the series, fans are suffering infection on their PC, tablets and smartphones.
Searched terms like, “Nude pictures of Taylor Lautner,” “Twilight true love,” or ”Robert and Kristin kissing” will result in the device being infected with malware. Norton experts are warning users to be extra careful what Twilight based material they search for. So far every movie in the series has had some hacker scam linked to it, with the last back in April which saw a game scam spread via Facebook.
