Verizon dilemma: Droid RAZR, HTC Rezound, or Galaxy Nexus?

With so many smartphones currently on the market and many that have either just or about to land, it’s not surprising that the choice of which one to choose is increasingly difficult. Manufacturers include Apple, Samsung, Motorola, LG, HTC and so on. But for US carrier Verizon, there is reason to celebrate with three smartphones grabbing the attention of many consumers.

One being that of the Motorola Droid Razr has officially released today, the HTC Rezound is rumored to land on November 14th with the Galaxy Nexus still a little up in the air in relation to its date, the latest being that of November 21st. So with all three packing impressive specs from the one US carrier, it will of course be putting you in a dilemma. We’ve given you a brief rundown of their specs, but head on over to in the coming weeks, as they will be giving the handsets full reviews.

We have to say from the off, that all three are similar in features, with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus picking the other two to the post with its bigger 4.65-inch screen.

Motorola’s Droid Razr gives out a 4.3-inch qHD Super Amoled display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 8 megapixel rear camera and 1.3 megapixel front facing, 4G LTE, 1800mAh battery, along with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

Next up is that of the HTC Rezound with its 4.3-inch Super LCD display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8 megapixel rear camera and 2 to the front, 4G LTE, 1620mAh battery, along with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

Lastly that of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which is due to arrive in the UK on November 17th whilst the US is still waiting for some indication. As we mentioned above, the Nexus boasts a 4.65-inch screen Super Amoled screen, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5 megapixel rear camera and 1.3 megapixel to the front, 4G LTE, 1750mAh battery along with the brand new Android 4.0 Ice-Cream Sandwich OS. What the Galaxy Nexus lacks is that of it’s rear camera size and smaller CPU, but hey you are getting Android’s new OS and bigger display.

Give us your thoughts on the three in question. With Verizon running all three, which one would be your choice?

I really honestly don’t care About the games verizon likes to play they want to wait for it let them but let the rest of us have the galaxy nexus !!!

  • Hey Mr Bartender

I am going with the HTC Rezound specifically for the Beats audio…the new OS is being released to this phone in early 2012 so I can wait it out a few months and get the benefit of both great audio and OS

why would you want Beats Audio?  It is just an EQ setting.  there’s nothing in the hardware to make it special.

I really wanted the Nexus but the absense of a Micro SD slot pretty much removes it from my list.  As of right now the Rezound is at the top as long as the battery life isnt a complete joke.

battery life for me on the rezound sucks!!!  it lasted 2 hours cuz i watch a netflix movie. regular usage will last if u turn off 4g, bluetooh, and wifi. use it only as needed. when i’m home, i use wifi and turn off the data. this helps a little

Why would you want any of them?  iphone will always be the best.
