Droid Razr receiving $188 price slash, where?

Motorola’s new Droid Razr on Verizon’s network finally released today, and this morning we compared it to two other smartphones that are about to land, the HTC Rezound and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. We wanted to know if you had a dilemma on your hands and out of the three, which would be your choice?

Before we refresh you on it’s specs, we wanted to tell you that despite its official release just a few hours ago, online retailer Amazon Wireless have dropped the price and its not just a few dollars, it’s a big saving. But be quick as the deal is for a “limited time” only.

Originally at $299.99, the Razr has been dropped with $188.00 off the normal price. According to Slashgear, the new Motorola can be ordered with a new contract for $111.11 this is for a brand new account, whilst if the Razr is added to an existing account, the price is $249.99, if you decide to opt for a phone sans contract, this will be a whooping $749.99.

In terms of screen size, the Razr packs a 4.3-inch qHD Super Amoled display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 8 megapixel rear camera and 1.3 to the front, 4G LTE, massive 1800mAh battery along with Android Gingerbread OS.
