Verizon HTC Rezound breaks cover November 14th

Finally the HTC Rezound running on the big red US carrier has been officially launched, and one of its selling points is that it will be the first phone in America to release with Beats Audio integration.

First detailed as the Vigor some three months ago, the 4.3-inch Super LCD smartphone will include some impressive specs. Packing a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU the Rezound features a 720p display, Verizon’s 4G LTE support, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with another 16GB on a microSD card, connectivity via WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0, HTC Sense, 8 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front facing camera and will be shipping with Android’s Gingerbread 2.3.4 OS but will come Ice Cream Sandwich ready.

Along with this, a massive 1,620mAh battery resides within the internals and of course the biggie, Beats Audio technology including headphones.

For lovers of the new HTC, the smartphone as Engadget reported, can be picked up on November 14th for a price of $299 on a two-year contract. Just the other day, we gave you news that in Q3, HTC had in fact won the title for best US phone manufacturer, beating the likes of Apple and Samsung. As to whether the company will do just as well with the lead up to Christmas is another story. Apple’s iPhone 4S has been storming the market and Samsung’s new Galaxy Nexus is due to hit the ground in the next week or so.
