Nokia Lumia 800 November 16th set free, interested?

Talk of the arrival of Nokia’s Lumia 800 hitting UK shores, had concluded that a November landing was most likely. Recent sources now claim that a November 16th release will be active, putting Nokia’s Windows Phone out on the shelves just before Samsung unleash their Galaxy Nexus onto the British public.

As Engadget confirm, the company announced that the Lumia 800 will display a price tag of €420, which will have to wait and see what it equates to in sterling. But what do you get for your money?

Well in keeping with the current trend for large screen devices, the Nokia flagship packs an impressive 3.7-inch AMOLED ClearBlack display. The curved glass screen gives a super sharp image with WVGA resolution, allowing you to make the most of your photos or videos. Talking of images, the Lumia 800 contains an 8MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens and high quality LED flash. Video’s can also be captured in 720p HD format.

Part of the beauty of the Nokia is its ability to integrate social networking, with access to the likes of Facebook and Twitter made easy through various areas in the Windows Phone 7.5 OS.
