3G iPhone 4S vs. 4G LTE Droid RAZR vs. Droid

There were three big events on yesterday; the first was for RIM and their BlackBerry platform, and second was Samsung and the announcement of their new Galaxy Nexus, which will be the first smartphone to run Ice Cream Sandwich. However, we are more interested in the final event, as Motorola finally unveiled their Droid RAZR.

It’s evident to see that this device is thin, it’s thinner than the iPhone 4S and makes the original Droid look like a doorstop, which is not that hard. Let’s face it, when we heard that Motorola were to revive the RAZR name, we were always going to expect a slim handset, but 7.1mm is worryingly thin, as we fear that it could not be that tough.

Engadget thought that the new 4G LTE Droid RAZR needed to be pitted with the new king of smartphones the 3G iPhone 4S, and you can tell by these images just how thin it is, it’s as if Motorola has run it though a meat slicer. We have a video embedded below showing a Droid RAZR hands-on, which not only points out that the Droid has now gone on a diet, but also has beefed up its performance as well.
