Nexus Prime UK Launch: Release date within 4 weeks

Samsung’s new Nexus Prime handset dubbed a monster of a phone and Google’s new Ice Cream Sandwich OS, will be announced later tonight in Hong Kong. We know that the new handset with its rumored specs has been a massive talking point, with many wondering whether Apple should have anything to worry about in relation to their new iPhone 4S.

On detailing the new Sammy handset, the world will at last be able to see its official specs, price and news of its release. Before we take a look at its presumed specs, we can update you further, with news from guardian.co.uk, that have spoken about its release in the UK and it’s not too long to wait.

So what will the South Korean company impress us with this time? The Nexus Prime is reported to have a 4.6-inch screen with HD display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 5 megapixel rear CMOS camera with LED flash, 1.3 megapixel front camera, 1080p HD video recording, 1GB of RAM, connectivity with Bluetooth 3.0, Micro USB 2.0, Near Field Communication (NFC), GPS and of course Google’s new Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 OS which will be a mixture of both Gingerbread and Honeycomb.
