iPhone 5 Release: Twitter iOS 5 Events Direct To Date

Its a job in relation to Apple’s new iPhone 5 rumors to not sound like a broken record. Months and months of speculation have gone by and the latest is that the fifth gen will be announced on October 4th at a special Apple media event hosted by CEO Tim Cook. Whether the event will definitely take place is something we will have to wait on, but with just more than a week to go until October 4th the news will just keep on coming in.

If true, Apple employees have been turned down any leave during the second week in October, we know that ex VP Al Gore in a recent speech used the plural with iPhones that are coming, suggesting that two handsets will be announced and so on. Today fresh news is pointing to the topic of when the new iOS 5 OS will appear and on what time-scale.

According to Cnet via The Next Web, online social networking site Twitter are reported to be holding two developer events during October, in relation to the network’s integration with iOS 5, the first being in London UK on the 10th and then in New York two days later. This is the rumored time that Apple will release iOS 5 to be ready for implementation onto the iPhone 5.

The Next Web in a statement have said, “The events seem to be focusing on the integration of Twitter into Apple’s upcoming iOS 5 software.” Added to this, anybody that attends either one of the events will not be under what is known as a “nondisclosure agreement” which basically means that all information by then will already be publicised.

If there is any substance to the dates in question, then the iPhone 5 could be sitting on retailer shelves by the 14th and 15th October, these are two dates in which Apple employees have been declined leave. Other dates being that of between 9th and the 12th October are the rumored time that iOS 5 will release but to existing iOS device owners.

Just recently, the news has been a little mixed with some saying that the iPhone 4S, a revamped version to the present iPhone 4 may be the more appealing option to buyers as a cheaper alternative. The iPhone 5 has been predicted to be in the region of $199.99 although this is only speculation so just take with a pinch of salt.

On the subject of specifications, the iPhone 5 is rumored to come with a larger display, thinner chassis, 8 megapixel camera with possible 1080p HD video capture, A5 dual-core processor, possible Near Field Communication allowing you to pay for purchases with the swipe of your handset and so on.
