HTC Ruby/Amaze: Further Pics Leaked – Competitors Should Worry

Since the rise of Android HTC has gone from strength to strength releasing handset after handset with top specifications and now it looks like another top end device is on its way, previously known as the “Ruby” the HTC Amaze has had some further pics leaked and this is a phone that competitors should worry about.

Even with Apple stealing the limelight with the iPhone 5 prototype that was apparently lost in a bar (2nd year running) this device is still capturing people’s imaginations with some impressive specifications that Maddy Rowe reported previously. To name a few impressive ones, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 16GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM and a 4.3-inch qHD display, couple those with an 8 megapixel rear facing camera and you start to see the bigger picture about this device.

Like many others we are on the lookout for any information or images of the device, we found some more about it over on Slashgear where Cory Gunther has added an article with a couple of pictures of the device which you can see below.

The new HTC phone looks remarkably like a previously successful smartphone, the Nexus S don’t you think? There’s a whole load of snaps over on thisismynext where Joshua Topolsky has added an article where he talks more about the specifications of the new smartphone. One thing that caught our eye from the report is the device is currently being tested for its capabilities on a DC-HSPA+ network meaning it’s possible that data transfer speeds of 42Mbps could be possible… Mind blowing!

What do you think of the HTC Ruby / Amaze? Are you looking forward to the release of this device even if it is on T-Mobile? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
