Samsung Galaxy S II US Official Accessories Revealed

The Samsung Galaxy S II (S2) was finally announced stateside last night and as expected will be coming to AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile. We’ve already brought you news on release dates, price and carrier names but now we wanted to turn our attention to some official accessories that will be available, as also announced by Samsung.

The Galaxy S II is one of the most talked-about Android smartphones that we can remember and once you finally get your hands on your desired handset you may want to consider accessories that will enhance your experience further. Samsung looks to have come up with an impressive accessory lineup, brought to our attention by Jerry Hildenbrand over on Android Central.

For instance a Vehicle Dock is useful to most people and will ensure uninterrupted GPS use as well as charging your phone. It can be mounted to either the dashboard or windscreen and also enables hands-free use of the handset via Vlingo Voice Talk. You could opt for the Battery Charging Stand with spare battery so you’ll have no excuse to run out of battery power while you also benefit from a handy kickstand.

There will also be a Multimedia Dock that will enable the use of your Galaxy S II as a home stereo system using connecting speakers or by plugging in to a home entertainment system with a 3.5mm stereo connector. The handset can conveniently be viewed in portrait or landscape mode. You may also want an HDTV Adapter, which can be used from the phone to an HDTV, monitor or projector, supporting HD video up to 1080p. This is great for viewing videos, presentations or games on a large screen or to look at purchased Media Hub content. You can see more on the full press release at the Android Central link above.

There’s no pricing or release availability for the accessories yet but as Sprint will be the first to release the Galaxy S II stateside, on September 16, it shouldn’t be too long before these hit the shelves.
