Comic Con 2011 Schedule & iPhone App Available

For those of you haven’t heard of Comic Con before, it’s pretty much a conference where games, movie trailers and a whole host of other things happen. With that being the case, we thought we should report for all of you the Comic Con 2011 schedule and let you know that you can keep up with them using an iPhone app which is now available.

Many people have been keeping an eye out for the latest in the series for the Mortal Kombat Legacy web episodes that we have now been waiting for around a month for. Kevin Tancharoen announced on his Twitter that the final episode would be screened at Comic Con and since then we have all been hoping for a longer episode with perhaps some kind of announcement of a second series. This one has been extremely successful so why stop a good thing?

If you are interested in keeping up with the latest news breaking from Comic Con then there’s a number of ways to do it. The first is by regularly checking on their website which you may want to bookmark, its where you can find a schedule running from tomorrow through to Sunday. This involves all sorts of different things. You can also follow them on Facebook and Twitter or if you are an iDevice user, there’s a free app that you can download from the iTunes App Store. It’s worth noting that the app also contains a floor plan so you know where to find each room if you are attending the event.

The schedule looks fantastic for us geeks who love things to do with gaming, sci-fi and that sort of thing. Comic Con certainly oozes geeky goodness and undoubtedly the Internet is going to go berserk tomorrow for anything to do with the event. Our main focus though is definitely with Mortal Kombat as we have reported on each of the previous episodes.

So far we know that the series when you add up all of the views that it has had exceeds the 35 million marker. Gamers will be delighted to see the popular names of Street Fighter and Tekken used in the same title for Street Fighter X Tekken. This is a highly anticipated game will be followed by a Q&A session with something that they describe as “some special surprises.” We have also read that fans attending the conference are encouraged to come in costume as Capcom are naming this… “Street Fighter Day.” If you would like to learn more about the actual game and its cross platform capabilities with the new PS Vita, head over to Product-Reviews where their gaming expert Alan Ng has added a compelling report.
