Motorola Titanium: Sprint Price & Release Date

Smartphones are devices that many of us would struggle to be without in everyday life now that they have become so popular. There are all sorts of different types ranging from the Apple iPhone running the iOS to basically all of the other manufacturers running various versions of Google’s Android OS. Now we have heard the official Motorola Titanium Sprint price and release date.

This device is a bit different from the others we have seen as we reported previously that it’s both sturdy and it has a full QWERTY keyboard. Let’s just recap on some of the specifications that the device will have. As we have already mentioned, it has a full QWERTY keyboard it has a 1GHz processor, a 3.1-inch touchscreen display and a microSD card slot which already contains a 2GB memory card and can be expanded up to 32GB.

Other specifications include its build standard being that of military grade, a 5 megapixel camera with an LED flash and of course it runs on a Google Android OS version 2.1 Éclair. Motorola has been kind enough to share the full specifications of the device on their official website which you can view on this link.

Since then we have been searching around for more information on the device where we came across a short article over on Engadget by Brad Molen who reports that the Motorola Titanium will be on Sprint and on shelves on July 24th. The best bit about it is the price. The price of the device is $150 after a $100 mail-in rebate which is certainly competitive towards its main rivals in RIM.

There’s a blog post that has been shown over on Sprint’s community which tells us that that the new smartphone will commence business sales on Sunday July 24th for $149.99 with a new line or eligible for upgrade on a two-year agreement with the mail rebate. That’s not too bad when you think about it but would want to have a decent device is you are potentially going to have it for two years.

There’s also a video at the bottom of the article that will show you a little bit of what the manufacturers say this little bad boy can do although we are yet to see a working model in the flesh. It shouldn’t be too long until we finally do though. Just to summarize, the Motorola Titanium will be $150 (following mail rebate of $100) on Sprint and it will be released on July 24th.

What do you think of the device so far? Will you be picking one up? Let us know in the comments section below.
