iPhone 5 Surprise “16th August” Release: Job Vacancies Reveal?

Since the start of 2011, there has been a dramatic increase in smartphones and tablet devices. Manufacturers are all contending with each other to bring out that one special phone that will appeal to a mass of consumers. Obviously price will play a big part in the decision process, along with what network will be carrying the device and of course the specifications. One such handset rumored to be releasing in September is that of Apple’s iPhone 5.

Now celebrating its first birthday, the iPhone 4 has racked up a huge amount of sales, despite teething problems in relation to “loss of signal.” In February the U.S. went on to enjoy the iPhone 4 on Verizon’s network from which a rise in customers has been seen from then until now.

So can the iPhone 5 do any better? This is a question which can only be answered once the handset has officially arrived. Rumors have been plaguing the internet for many months and at times, its a job to decipher the specs which may have some truth in them against the reports that are just damn right bonkers!

Although the release date for Apple’s next-gen is sometime in September we have nothing in stone but today, this may be about to change. According to Cnet, Reed job recruiters are currently advertising for iPhone sales staff or specialists as its stated. We say vacancies as there is more than one within the UK, which outlines “full time iPhone sales staff for an exciting project to work 5 days a week (Tuesday-Saturday) for the period 16th August – 29th October within key retail stores.”

Included in the advertisement it also states that candidates will need to complete daily reports, providing a “first-class customer service sales” and to “capture the hearts and minds of potential customers.” If interested, the posting states that a four-day training event in London will be compulsory as well as the receiving of £75 per day.

Jumping on this straight away, some have asked whether this a big hint that the iPhone 5 is in fact coming earlier than anticipated, in fact from the 16th August.

As we’ve reported in the past, Apple really need to bring in the iPhone 5 as soon as possible, due to the increase in Android devices. Its rumored that Apple are looking at a more affordable option for the handset, which if true would allow more consumers to jump onto the Apple bandwagon.

Let us know what your thoughts are on the iPhone 5? What new specs would you like to see? Should we take any notice of the recent Reed postings or have we all gone iPhone 5 crazy?
