New Olivetti OliPad 110: July Release, Video Shows All

Since the start of this year, tablet devices are increasing in numbers, we have the new iPad 2 and talk of an iPad 3 on the way, Motorola’s Xoom, BlackBerry’s PlayBook, HTC Flyer, Samsung’s Galaxy 10.1 and so on, but there is another to be released next month.

Yep, that’s right, the new Olivetti OliPad 110 tablet running on Android’s 3.1 Honeycomb OS. Although the tablet may not have been talked about on the same scale as the iPad 2, its definitely worth taking a look at its specs listing. Releasing next month although a firm date hasn’t been announced, as Slashgear stated, you can expect to have a tablet with a 10-inch screen, NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, 5MP rear camera and 2 to the front, micro HDMI out, a mini USB opening and a microSD card slot.

Back in March we gave you news about Olivetti launching a 10-inch slate but with Android 2.2 Froyo and smaller camera making it the first tablet device to release from the Italian company. Now the stakes have been made higher with the introduction of the latest OliPad 110. In terms of pricing, you can expect to pick one of these up for around 399 euros or equivalent to $549.
