CoPilot Live Sat Nav: App Now With Social Media Integration

The mobile satellite navigation firm ALK has announced some drastic updates to their range of CoPilot Live apps. The smartphone sat nav will now include new features including integration with your social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter with the launch of their premium service.

Tech Radar reports that users will now be able to use the sat nav to check in to Facebook Places, which makes sense as you will be going to different destinations. The update to CoPilot Live will bring a host of other premium features such as Twitter functionality and integration to Microsoft’s search engine, Bing.

The update will see the arrival of ActiveTrafffic, a feature which gives you real time traffic updates and more when you need them. You are also given the ability to make your own route by dragging your finger across the screen. ALK has made their app available for both Android and iOS and it can be downloaded right now for £14.99 here in the UK. An iPad version is said to be on the way.

Overall the update adds more mobile functionality, such as the ability to copy and paste addresses and destinations into the app. There is also a speech recognition feature which allows you to input street names by just saying them, so in all this app has made travel very easy and convenient. These are just a few of the many abilities that the mobile navigator has to offer, so give it a try and let us know what you think in the comments.
