Canon T3 EOS Rebel: Reduced & Now Comes In Different Colors

At OSM we have reported on many different types of camera and DSLR in our time but perhaps none are more popular than Canon’s T3 EOS Rebel that now comes in different colors! Not only that but it has had a slight reduction in price which is great news of you are looking to pick one up.

We previously reported on it comparing its big brother the T3i to its previous model the T2i as well as bringing you the price, specs and expected release dates of the sought after device. It’s certainly not alone in the market either, another DSLR that has a similar amount of interest is made by the manufacturer Nikon and it’s the D5100.

Let’s just recap on the specs of the Rebel T3; it has a 12.2 megapixel CMOS sensor, a 63-zone dual-layer meter system and a DIGIC 4 imaging processor. The device began shipping at the end of March setting you back $599.99, it will also come with an EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II zoom lens to get you started.

The new promotional price is $549.99 with a choice of colors, red, metallic grey and brown as informed by Engadget’s Dana Wollman. They are comparing the colors to that of the Pentax which comes in all sorts of weird and wacky ones which is amusing. All in all the T3 is in fact a pretty useful device and the kit it comes with is shown on the official Canon website.
