LG Optimus 3D: Officially Launched In Europe Today

Smartphones have become a way of life for us, we don’t seem to be able to be without them as we all love to check our social networks while we are on the move and call or text our friends. These things have developed from a very basic design into a complex and cool bit of kit especially the top end devices like the iPhone 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S2.

Now we have some news for you and it’s that the LG Optimus 3D has been officially launched in Europe today! We learned of this through an article by Engadget’s Richard Lai, he talks a little about the device and what you can expect to find within its shiny shell.

We can tell you that it has a 4.3” screen at a resolution of 480×800, it has 8GB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM, an expandable microSD slot that goes up to 32GB and it has dual 5 megapixel cameras on the back 2560×1920 with autofocus and an LED flash. You can also record with the device with 1080p being at 24fps, 720p at 30fps (3D). Perhaps the coolest feature with this device is the recording as when you take a 3D video it’s instantly available to you to playback in 3D without the need for those goofy glasses.

We can also tell you that it ships with Android 2.2 Froyo and is upgradable to 2,3 Gingerbread, the device has a dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor and a load of different types of connection that you can read more about from their official news room on this link.
