HTC EVO 3D At Amazon: Official 24th June Release

At the end of last month, we gave you news about one of the hottest smartphones to come out of this year so far, that of the HTC EVO 3D. Although not released, it has still managed to stir up a fair amount of interest amongst others including the Samsung Galaxy S2, iPhone 5, Motorola Droid Bionic and so on.

We were keen to share with you, that pre-orders of the device were being taken at RadioShack and Best Buy with an anticipated arrival date of 24th June. This was not confirmed, but today its been reported that the handset is up for pre-order at retailer Amazon with shipping commencing officially on the 24th June, which will fall in line with in-store promotions.

According to videogamingpros.com, the EVO 3D will retail at $179 at Amazon, and will be the first smartphone to come with the 3D feature, check out our article asking you whether you would sway more towards a 3D phone or gaming console such as the 3DS.

In terms of specs, the EVO 3D running on Android’s 2.3 Gingerbread OS, will include a 4.3-inch qHD display, 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor allowing you, the user to multi-task with ease, 2 rear facing 5MP cameras which can record in 3D, HTC Sense UI 3.0 and so on.
