Battlefield 3: Thunder Run Tank Gameplay Trailer Goes Viral

So far E3 2011 has been fantastic with Microsoft showing off what the Kinect can really do, Sony naming their brand spanking new handheld console the PS Vita and Nintendo wowing everyone by showing off and naming their new static console the Nintendo Wii U.

One of the great things about E3 as an event is there are always big announcements and loads of gameplay trailers as this is an ideal place for the develops to show you their work. Generally the clips can then be found on YouTube which is exactly what has happened with the new Battlefield 3 Thunder Run Tank gameplay trailer that’s gone viral.

So far the clip has received more than 940,000 views and was uploaded by the Battlefield guys themselves on June 6th. That’s a heck of a lot of views in 3 days but when you watch the 8 minutes of gameplay then you will understand why, this game looks intense! This is one of the most realistic games I have personally ever seen.

Within the video you get to see the player using the turret on the tank to take out some opposing tanks. Then they go into thermal view which is really cool. They continue to take out the opposing thanks and continue with their mission heading towards the top of the ridge. This is the actual trailer that was shown by EA at E3 where it was played by Patrick Bach and we would like to warn you that there is some strong language in it.

What do you think of the gameplay video? Do you think it will outsell Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3? Let us know in the comments section below.
