Amazon “Big Name” Smartphone Sale: June 8th Finish

Are you still toying with the idea of getting a new smartphone, but not sure whether you can justify spending out your hard earned pennies? Today news may be about to change that.

As many of you are aware, there are plenty of devices to choose from each varying in name, specs, price and colour. According to BGR, retailer Amazon are presently holding a massive sale of smartphones, but be quick the sale will only last until June 8th.

Some big names to look out for include Verizon’s HTC Thunderbolt for $99, Incredible 2 for $49.99 and Trophy at $49.99, Samsung’s Droid Charge at $149.99 which has racked up a huge amount of interest, Motorola’s Droid X 2 at a lower price of $99.99 and LG’s new Revolution for $149.99.

We have to say some of these phones have only just hit retailers such as the Droid Charge and Revolution, and in recent weeks here at OSM we have given you comparisons, hands-on, expert reviews and so on.

Before we leave you with time to ponder, you may be interested to hear that the new PlayStation Sony Ericsson Xperia Play will cost you a ridiculous penny.
