WWDC 2011 App: Keep Up With The Latest Updates

We are coming up to one of the biggest tech weeks of the year with both Apple’s WWDC keynote which looks to be concentrating on a software side of things and also E3 where gamers will be expecting to see wonderful new consoles.

Now we have some information that may interest those of you who weren’t fortunate enough to be able to attend WWDC this year. Now you can keep up with the latest news and updates from WWDC 2011 with an app which is a great idea especially if you are attending E3 and still want to know what’s going on at the other event.

We learned of the app through an article over on CNET where Josh Lowensohn has added his thoughts about it. He says about how the app has the full conference schedule available for both iPhones and iPads and users have the ability to bookmark their own itinerary which is a nice touch.

Although this isn’t unusual for an event to have its own app tied to it, you find that it’s still a fairly new concept. Now that the smartphone world is on fire with Android having a massive presence we expect to see an app for just about every event for both Apple devices and Android ones too. If you want to go ahead and get the app then use this link to be directed to iTunes.

Will you be downloading the app? Let us know your thoughts on it in the comments section below.
