Verizon Fast LTE Galaxy Tab 10.1 Pre-Order: June 8th

Today we brought you news that the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, a device that has stirred up a lot of interest, will be available at NYC’s Best Buy in Union Square on June 8th with other retailers joining in afterwards. This comes as we reported just the other day that accessories had been spotted on a German website giving us a slight inkling that it would be on its way. The news concentrates on the WiFi only version but what about Verizon’s LTE model?

News from Engadget has come through that the speedy LTE version will be available to pre-order also on June 8th, although an official release date has not been confirmed, however, suggestion is pointing towards the summer. Before we give you the Galaxy 10.1 price, we will refresh you on what you’re pennies will get you.

Firstly as well as benefiting from the fast LTE network, the tablet device will of course include a 10.1-inch screen, Android’s Honeycomb 3.0 OS, 1GHz dual-core processor, 2MP front-facing camera and 3MP to the back, 6800 mAH battery giving up to 10 hours video playback, full support for Google™ Mobile Services, including Gmail™, YouTube™, Adobe® Flash® Player and so on.

In terms of that all important price, we can tell you that the Verizon LTE model will set you back $530 for the 16GB on a 2-year contract or a slightly higher $630 for the bigger 32GB also on a 2-year contract.
