Samsung Exhibit 4G & Gravity Smart on T-Mobile: June Releases

We have news today of an official announcement from T-Mobile about two new Samsung Android phones due for release in June, the Exhibit 4G and also the Gravity SMART. Although we’ve previously given some details on the Exhibit 4G and followed up with a leaked release date the Gravity SMART is a handset that until now has escaped our attention.

These smartphones are both very reasonably priced for the mid-level market and specs for the Exhibit 4G include a 1GHz processor, a 3-megapixel camera with flash and camcorder and also a front-facing camera, and it also features the Samsung Media Hub. The operating system is Android 2.3, Gingerbread and it comes in 2 color options, violet or black, at a competitive price of $79.99 on the usual contract and including a $50 rebate.

The Gravity SMART meanwhile runs on Android 2.2, has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and features a 3-megapixel camera. With the usual contract and after rebate you can purchase the Berry Red or Sapphire Blue model for $69.99 or there’s also a Lunar Gray option priced at only $29.99, according to Jerry Hildenbrand over on Android Central, where you can also see the full press release.

If you want to find out more about the Exhibit 4G check out this product page at T-Mobile, although there seems to be no page available yet for the Gravity SMART. These handsets both look to us to be decent devices that have been priced sensibly. We’d like to know if you think you’ll make a purchase of either or these handsets so let us have your comments.
