Photo & Video Search Being Rolled Out By Twitter

We brought you the news recently that Twitter were preparing to launch a photo sharing service to rival the likes of Flickr and Twitpic. This service is yet to be released but Twitter has launched their new photo and video search feature.

It has been reported by Mashable that Twitter begun rolling out the improved version of its search service yesterday (Wednesday). The microblogging site’s new feature will display photos and videos on the right side of the results page, in addition to more relevant tweets. You can also click on the sidebar to see a full-page grid view of photo and video results.

It has been reported that Twitter will also allow its users to attach and upload photos directly to their tweets in the coming weeks.
