YouTube Spoof Cheryl Cole Video Tops Over 82,000 Hits

Video sharing site YouTube has just celebrated its 6th birthday and now attracts millions of users, and here at OSM one of the topics that we like to report on is that of viral spoof videos. Just recently, one of the big marketing campaigns using YouTube was “Barbie and Ken,” as well as the next Kung Fu Panda movie, T-Mobile Kate and Wills Royal wedding and so on.

Today its the turn of celebrity star Cheryl Cole and the headlines surrounding her and the US X Factor series. Just last week, the news hotted up when we heard that the Girls Aloud and solo artist had been axed from the show, with ex-Pussycat Nicole Scherzinger rumored to be taking her place. Many fans were no doubt disappointed with the decision, but on a lighter note today and what is hoped to make many of you laugh, is a new spoof video of Cheryl which has already racked up over 82,000 views.

From the embedded video below courtesy of YouTube, you can see a lady by the name of Jenny Bede who as entertainment.stv.tv reported produced the video. Singing along to the iconic Run DMC’s Walk This Way, Bede sings lyrics such as “So I was dead excited that Si was going to take us to the USA, I said you ain’t seen nothing going to the best judging that you ever have seen wahey.”

Followed by “Sat through thousands of auditions, crushed all of their ambitions, When I said “I’m sorry pet its a no.”

Tell us what you think of the decision to let Cheryl Cole go? Was it the right one, and do you like the spoof?
