iOS 5 Partners Twitter’s New Photo-Sharing Integration?

Just yesterday we reported that the WWDC 2011 event will kick off on Monday 6th June, where rumor has it Apple will be announcing new software including that of iOS 5. As to whether the iPhone 5 or 4GS will be a topic of discussion is anybody’s guess but yesterday we told you that as well as iOS 5, there will be mention of iCloud and Mac OS X Lion.

Today the rumors continue in relation to iOS 5 with news that Apple will be joining forces with Twitter’s new photo sharing service named Twitter Pictures. According to various sources including AppleInsider, the online social networking site will be announcing their new service at the forthcoming D9 event later on this week, with Apple’s iOS 5 support.

If the rumor turns out to have some truth in it, then as T3 reported, Apple’s iOS 5 software will have a deep “baked into” integration with Twitter’s photo service, with a “send to Twitter” option. As you can currently upload your videos onto YouTube, Twitter and iOS 5’s new concept will work on the same principle with the easy accessibility to upload pictures onto Twitter.
