When you think about the current smartphone market there are a number of devices that selling well and also a few others that are expected to do well. One that’s getting a lot of attention at the moment is the Samsung Galaxy S II and also many people are desperate to know every detail about the iPhone 5.
Another interesting market that Samsung has a decent presence in is that of the Tablet PC. Already they have been leading the way to show that Apple aren’t the only ones that can find success as the original Samsung Galaxy Tab was selling well even with the iPad present. Perhaps this was because of its unique size with the 7” screen or maybe it was because people just wanted something different. Now we are hearing that the Samsung Galaxy S3 (III) and a 4G tablet will be coming in 2012.
We learned of this through an article over on Engadget where author Thomas Ricker where he mentions about Samsung’s current devices that they are about to start retailing in the 8.9 and 10.1 tablet PCs. The hints of the new devices came from Sammy’s head of mobile communications J.K.Shin who is currently going through a lawsuit with Apple over product imitation.
Of course these devices are expected, the current tablets aren’t 4G enabled so it makes sense that their next model will be and as for the mobile phones… Well the Galaxy S II is outselling the iPhone 4 in the UK at the moment so it makes sense for them to refresh the handset when the sales start to slow.
