Already some of you will be blasting your Call of Duty matches out through surrounds sound systems but sometimes you have to take your neighbors into consideration as you game into the night. That’s what Sony seems to be attempting to do by offering you the Official set of PlayStation 3 cans and we have the price and release date for you.
We first learned of the different looking headset which comes complete with an inbuilt microphone through an article over on Engadget by Sean Buckley who says that these bad boys connect using a USB connection with no wires in between the dongle and physical headset and they push your battery status directly to your screen.
There’s an update on the Sony PlayStation blog from Anand Agarwal who is the product marketing manager for hardware and he says that the latest accessory to the Sony PlayStation family features 7.1 virtual sound so you can hear every minute sounds whether you be playing an FPS game or racing towards that checkered flag. They will set you back $99.99 and are set to be released nationwide in September.
