LG Revolution vs Samsung Droid Charge: Price Relevation

With a great many smartphones coming onto the current market, its a job to know which one to choose. Phones from Samsung, HTC, Apple and LG are just some of the manufacturers that presently have a cemented position but its the latter that we wanted to talk about with a new handset by the name of “Revolution.”

Running on the big red Verizon fast 4G network, the LG will include a 4.3-inch display matching that of many of its counterparts. Although a little disappointing, the Revolution will come with Android’s 2.2 Froyo OS, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, which on looking at the current competition with their dual-cores, may struggle to keep up.

Along with this as BGR stated, the LG will include a 5MP camera, HD video capture, the Revolution will be the first of the LG Android range to come pre-installed with the Netflix app giving users the benefit of watching favorite TV shows, films and so on.

From tomorrow May 26th, the LG Revolution will be available to buy in-store or online for a stand alone price of $249.99 matching that of the HTC Thunderbolt and falling slightly lower ($50) than that of the Samsung Droid Charge. If a Verizon contract is your preference, then expect to pay in the region of $39.99 a month on a Nationwide Talk plan or a different package enabling unlimited data at $29.99 per month.
