T-Mobile Launch The Rocket Data Stick: Supercharged Speeds!

How frustrated have you been with your 4G dongles that constantly drop connection and aren’t particularly quick at loading pages? Probably as frustrated as we have but there’s something coming that means you no longer need to get angry with your diddy device and instead you can use it at high speeds in conjunction with your tablet PC or laptops.

T-Mobile has launched the Rocket Data stick with supercharged speeds that we just had to tell you about. We first learned of this through BGR.com where their author Jonathan S.Geller informs us of all the cities that it will go live in Spring time, 55 markets in total.

The manufacturer of the device is ZTE and it will be hitting T-Mobile tomorrow for $99.99 with a contract. It works using USB 3.0 and as T-Mobile announced in their press release the download speeds are up to 42MBPS, keep an eye on this link for further pricing details.

Over on Technobuffalo their author has added an article saying that T-Mobile has a pretty good record for pushing actual HSPA+ speeds in its fastest markets and the author also says that they will get their hands on one of the devices and test it out so check back to see the results.
