HTC Flyer Tablet PC Gets Unboxed

In our time at OSM we have seen various cell phones enter the market and one thing that everyone loves to see is them getting unboxed. We recently reported on the HTC Sensation revealing all in an unboxing video and now the tablet from HTC is getting the same treatment.

This is the same device that we have reported articles on numerous occasions about, we have even asked you if you think it’s a challenger to the iPad 2. OSM’s Mike Smith also added an article talking about how it could be a cheap alternative Android based device. That’s right the HTC Flyer tablet PC has been filmed in an unboxing video.

We learned of the device through an article added over on Slashgear by Chris Burns where he is saying that the one they have didn’t come with a scribe pen in the box and that instead it’s another purchase at $79. It has some pretty nifty features, to name a few we have a 5 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 3.0 and 1.5GHz processor.

You can also view a load of images from androidcommunity.com and of course if you head to the bottom of the article then you can view a hands-on unboxing and first look at the HTC Flyer. Personally I can’t wait to see how it handles things like PDF files and I would like to see if you can use annotations using the pen on the screen, this will hopefully be revealed soon.

What do you think of this little tablet PC? Will you be picking one up? Let us know in the comments section below.
