Dell Streak Pro 10″ 4G LTE Tablet? Rumored for June

We like to keep our readers up-to-date with developments from Dell and recently wrote about the Dell Precision M4600 and M6600 mobile workstations and also the XPS 15z ultrathin laptop. We have news today of a Dell Android 3.0 Honeycomb 10-inch tablet, the Dell Streak Pro, which is rumored for release in June.

On top of that there’s talk of the Dell Streak Pro being shipped with support for the 4G LTE AT&T network but as Todd Haselton over on BGR, sourced from Tweakers.net (trans), says, this doesn’t seem entirely likely considering the 4G LTE network on AT&T has yet to be implemented. Rumored features and specs include a 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip, 16GB of RAM and a 5-megapixel camera with 2-megapixel camera for video chat.

It’s also possible it will come in 3 versions, 16, 32 and 64GB. Over on Engadget, Vlad Savov tells us that the Dell Streak Pro has a brushed aluminum back and will come in four color options, black, red, blue and pink. Savov also reports the likelihood of Dell’s Stage UI alongside the Android operating system and also reiterates the possibility of 4G LTE support on AT&T.

What are your thoughts on the Dell Streak Pro? What might make you choose this Android Honeycomb tablet over others such as the Motorola Xoom, or upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1? Let us know with your comments.
